Strife 2
- New Units - Fireships, heavy galleons, stone golems, ballistas, zealots, war chariots, battering rams, undead, etc. Over 50 new units with some being race-specific.
- New Structures - Mana wells, runic temples, cathedrals, shipyards, monuments, shrines, etc. Some, also, are race-specific.
- Towns - Each empire will be organized as a collection of towns - each with different terrain types that effect the town's economy and defense. Some terrain types include wetlands, desert, tundra, island, mountains, etc.
- Strife Factor - This will be replacing all Networth-based restrictions on who you can attack. SF (Strife factor) will represent your empire's level of pride in itself and the amount of respect the rest of the world has for it. If you're successful against larger opponents, your SF will rise and your economy will strengthen. Only target weaker opponents and your economy will falter.
- Faith - In addition to the two research areas, Industry and Magic, a new one will be added: Faith. To facilitate it will be new buildings, units, deities to worship, and miracles.
- Piracy - Pirates make an introduction on Strife2. Getting tired of your enemies being aided by their friends? Steal (or sink) it!
- Prolonged Siege - Use your forces to surround enemy towns and starve them to death - unless they or their allies break your ranks.
- Upgrades - As your empire advances through the Eras, you can specialize in Industry, Magic, or Faith, or maintain a balance in all three.
- Heritage - Continue producing units or constructing buildings, if you wish, of previous Eras after you advance to the next.
- Advanced News System - Your advisors will help you keep track of news more efficiently, now. View it by category, overall, or get detailed reports of events such as battles.
