The Disease Grows

After over six centuries of turmoil and strife, almost all remnants of the Age of Radiance have been forgotten and many of the societies have become dependent on perpetual conquest. Few dominate the world before they fall to another, and all official relations have been cast aside.

Some believe the gradual dependence on such a vicious cycle of strife can be contributed to a powerful curse Gyas, from the domain of the dead, continues to hold on the hearts of the living.
